With 4 offices across the UK, each having its own local team and client base presented IT collaboration challenges that needed to be addressed.
- Previous IT services providers treated the offices as separate companies causing inefficiency and delayed resolution of IT issues.
- EDP Environmental’s IT requirements were expanding constantly and the nature of its design work meant large files – needing high performance servers and high bandwidth connectivity.
- Outdated IT equipment was contributing to the delay in accessing and working with various files.
- Collaboration between offices was very challenging as files were being sent across via emails to be worked on.
